With the ongoing spring showers and the beginning of southern summer heat, May weather in Texas isn't always the best for photo shoots. When Jiaojiao (my cousin) and I scheduled this shoot at first, I knew that there was a slight chance of showers so I prepared myself with towels and plastic bags to sit on. Even though it rained a little bit at the beginning of our shoot, eventually the sun peaked through the clouds and we got some beautiful light around golden hour. I'm glad I got to capture some beautiful moments between my aunt and cousin who don't get to see each other often. Here are some photos from the shoot!
