Piper and Ellie were the best to shoot with! It was so fun exploring and finding new spots to shoot with them! These beautiful photos were taken around Old Frankford Church and Cemetery which is located right in the middle of Piper and Ellie's neighborhood. The history behind the location is really interesting!! Built around 1897, the church is 120 years old! It used to be in the town of Frankford, Texas which developed around the 1850's and by 1890, the town had a population of 83 people. The church continued to serve a Methodist congregation until 1924 and by the 1930's, the town of Frankford was no longer shown on county maps. Luckily though, the church was restored in 1963 and it and it's cemetery + untouched prairie land continue to remind us of what was of Texas 150 years ago.
